Addons

This tab contains the list of all addons of the modification — both built-in ones and addons created for integration with third-party modifications.

For each addon, its package identifier and current status are displayed:

  • Active — the addon is enabled and working.
  • Disabled — the addon has been manually disabled via the button.
  • Inactive — the modification intended for this addon is not installed.
  • Available for download — the addon is not included in the Optimus package; use the Download button to get it.

Addons of installed modifications are enabled automatically; no separate activation is required. However, if necessary, any addon can be temporarily disabled (or enabled back) with a single button click — the effect is immediate. This can be useful, for example, for diagnosing forum problems.

If an addon has its own settings, a Settings link is displayed next to it. Clicking it expands a block with the options of that particular addon right on the same page.

These options are no longer displayed on the general modification settings pages — each addon keeps its settings within its own block.

Addon developers can add support for their own settings block by implementing the HasSettingsInterface interface — see How to Create Your Own Addon.
